Mega-Boob Olympics

Billed as a competition to determine who has "the best boobs in the world", this Score Group video merely memorializes a rather disturbing trend in porno that seems to be correcting itself -the arms race (like the nuclear arms race of the '50s) that confused fake & bigger with better. Score releases dozens of videos spotlighting natural-breasted women (as did its predecessor mail-order label Big Top back in the VHS '90s), so this showcase of some of the magazine's heftier surgical wonders is dismaying.

Truly beautiful women with natural (or at least very, very natural looking) huge breasts abound nowadays, and not just Score but almost every XXX distributor has a lineup featuring them, most recently the Hungarian outfit DD Busty. Even Score's coming attractions are dominated by such lovely models, many of them hailing from Europe. Score has a line of ON LOCATION videos (such as KEY LARGO) that are populated by natural beauties.

But in this rather embarrassing feature we have a group of frankly ugly women, who through the exigencies of popular tastes have gone under the knife to create grotesque versions of themselves to the public. Several of these models would be candidates for the TV show BOTCHED in fact.

So we witness them bouncing around, floating their breasts in a swimming pool (perhaps the only time when they do appear somewhat natural), tossing dildos at each other, oiling their breasts, masturbating (for XXX content) with dildos or vibrators and ultimately a threesome of lesbian sex utilizing strap-ons as the video's coup de grace. It'a a freak-show exploitation, analogous to the recent use of freaks (and CGI) in the popular HBO series American HORROR STORY which inexplicably got a free ride from critics and the public (I found it to be almost Tarantino like in its crass endorsement of sadism for the purpose of audience manipulation).

I come at this from a fan's point-of-view: in the '90s I bought and enjoyed many of the Big Top features, especially those concerning British models as well as the Black models like Miss Twin Towers (her stage name was pretty much neutralized as in poor taste after 9/11 occurred). But they were mainly natural. To the point, Minka was enhanced when she first appeared over 20 years ago in such videos as DUKE OF KNOCKERS 2 but like current stars like Ava Addams she was normal looking and stimulating in appearance. For OLYMPICS she has pumped up so much as to be off-putting.

It is most encouraging that fetish fans are increasingly drawn to natural, droopy breasted women (like Siri currently), even plumpers rather than the ludicrous spectacle of real, often slim people with what look like basketballs or volleyballs super-glued to their sternums. If I want to fantasize about strange looking female creatures, I will harmlessly turn to 3-D Japanese XXX anime, of which LEWD EXAMINATION ROOM is a classic example, and there's no harm done.
