Ring, Ring is a film about some office workers who steal a client list when they are let go from their jobs. The list is on a cellphone that goes missing. They set out to find the cellphone only to be lead to a house that they enter and become locked in by a junkie. Who's gonna make it out? This is the plot.
Let's start with the fact that this is and indie, low budget film. The filming isn't polished and while the actors aren't well seasoned, I've seen worse. The story isn't a bad one but it lacks any real amount of depth, has very little character building and there's no real reason to invest in any of the characters. It makes for a slow watch that isn't very interesting.
So, why 4 stars?
Well, I'd give it 3.5 if I could. I can appreciate the struggle of low budget film and this wasn't an unbearable watch. The actors weren't THAT bad. Some of them, maybe but the three lead characters did a decent enough job. I want to give credit where it is due and like I said, I've seen far worse.
Would I recommend it?
Depends on who asks. If you are a horror fan, you probably will not be satisfied. If you are looking for a serious thriller, you will also be left unsatisfied. If you are looking to kill some time and you can tolerate low budget indies, this might work for you. Everyone else will probably want to skip it.

In my opinion, this movie rates 3 out of 10. The story is okay but the acting is mediocre at best. The script is cheesy and could have been written much better. There's nothing worse than fake reviews to make a low budget film look better than it actually is. I'm not a movie critic but it seems as though I can critique a movie better than most that have left reviews for this film. I hope this review helps as it is at least an honest one.
So I saw all these positive reviews for this movie and thought to myself "for an indie horror film this gets a really good rating". It's obviously fabricated.
This movie had the weakest plot I've ever seen and didn't make hardly any sense. It wasn't clever, it wasn't scary, and it sure as hell wasn't worth the watch.
This is a prime example of why you can't trust reviews anymore.
This movie doesn't even compare to the B movies made by the Asylum (Sharknado, etc). At least those movies TRY to do SOMETHING.
Ring Ring is a terrible excuse for a movie and definitely does not deserve the rating it gets...

I liked it. If you're looking for something that isn't boring and moves along, it's a pretty good flick. It's entertaining and doesn't pretend to be something it isn't.
I've seen a lot worse and watched until the end just for something to do.
Watched this movie to see why it got such high reviews. when the plot sounded weak. thought i'd give it a chance. regretting that i did. all i can think is the 9/10-10/10 reviews where written by friends and family of the people in the film.
stay away.
