To me this is the mount everest of polish film making since about 20 years. There were good movies in this period, but this series is only piece i have ever seen that can achieve success and world wide audience. This Is Gold.(like Italian Gomorrah) To this day, 6 episodes aired, and I cannot stress this enough, every episode left me with hunger for more and i have watched like half of episode 6 with my mouth half open - seriously. To this moment i thought that modern polish cinema has no hope (apart from those weird festival films) but this is good. Big money good. The second and third meaning behind art is not really obvious and stale like usually, its refreshing and puzzling at times - it's great. TO be honest i would have done better work in polish but i hope some weird foreigner from east block countries sees this and decides to watch it, This Is Gold. I sincerely hope you are able to see this.
