Anecdotes
The genesis of this film came when Frank H. Woodward saw Jack Bennett wearing a mustache for an unrelated film role and commented that he resembled a young Robert Shaw. Bennett's response was to immediately launch into Quint quotes from Les dents de la mer (1975). Later, when the JAWS Blu-ray was released, Bennett was re-watching the Indianapolis speech and paused it to text Woodward that "There's no way this is the first time he's told this story." Their subsequent riffing on the idea of Quint workshopping his speech led to this short film.
