I'll start with the good stuff but there won't be much. Bill Murray is great in anything he's in.
Naomi Watts is great in anything she's in.
Direction is adequate. Filming is nice. Good shots of NYC. I like dogs!
Let's see........Did I mention I'm a dog lover?
Ok here we go. The movie is very slow moving. The dialogue is slow and boring. I understand what they're trying to achieve here. The plot of the film is depressing. With that I can certainly understand why people would like this but I didn't. And I love a deep story! There just wasn't that umph to give me any entertainment value. I stated in the title, typical Hollywood Junk because the first 10 minutes or so of the film hadn't passed and we met every race, creed, color and ethnicity around just to prove being inclusive is more important than entertainment. Even an interracial marriage. So go ahead and watch it. The subject matter may hit you and you might appreciate it. For me it was just flat.

Fly me to the Moon takes place in the 60's when NASA and space flight were at the forefront of our lives. I'm never going to say or use the word great when talking about it. It was ok. It was good. Sometimes fun sometimes boring and outright stupid at the end.
It's Hollywood and it's filled with inaccuracies but it never claims to be factual so that's ok.
Johansson was good, Woody was good, direction was good, writing was ok, kind of boring at times and dumb at times.
Security could never be broken the way it was in the film and the end was downright stupid!!!
I like the way they integrated some old footage and voices in the movie.
Now don't get me wrong here, I'm all for inclusion but being politically correct and using a black actor as one of the main engineers was one thing but making him a hero at the end to make an inclusion point and to make sure nobody's feelings were hurt was just ridiculous and laughable. I definitely took one star off just for that nonsense.
Like almost all newer movies I can never use the word great. When you write, direct and film because you're worried you'll usually get a 5 or 6 out of me.
Overall it was just ok to good.

Where do I begin. I guess with the trailer. Looked like it had a chance. Good premise. Good actors.
But just like any new movie that comes out, it just follows the same old script.
The let's include everyone as to not offend anybody.
The ridiculous concept that just barely escaping death a zillion times throughout the movie will somehow make it exciting and on the edge of your seat fun.
The dumb script and conversations between Bateman and Edgerton.
That dude ran through the airport so many times I thought I was watching an O. J. Simpson rent a car commercial from years ago.
Do yourself a favor and just stay away from this bomb and go watch a horror movie from the 80's. Those seem to never disappoint!
Anything new seems to always disappoint.
