Upon first watching this show, I found it quite enjoyable until I came upon a cold case story I was already very familiar with, which would make this particular story the third retelling of the same story to me.
I am naturally interested in the local news that happens in my city, so a few years ago when I first read about this story in my local news, I followed the story, I don't know why? Maybe because it happened so close to home? Years later, I was watching a show on hbo max and an another show on Hulu which featured this same story. Each show offered new and different insights into this missing person's case. Nevertheless, the information from both tv shows are correct, according to what I already knew from reading about it in my local news.
And now, after watching the third retelling of this story on "cold case detective", I am disgusted with this fake story they're reporting because it seems the writer (or whoever? I am just gonna hold the narrator responsible and at fault for this for now. Lol) are trying to stretch the story out to make it longer by adding extra untrue details to the story. And in other words, a common phrase most people like to say out here on the streets is that they "threw some 20's on 10's" meaning the car fits a size 10 wheel but is installed with a size 20 rim that doesn't fit it.
I am appalled and now this show has lost all its credibility to me.
The first few stories I had already watched before I got to this story, now has me doubting if they're even true or not. I'm not watching it anymore.
