I'm no stranger to Brendan's videos, I've watched his videos for many years. I used to really enjoy the dynamic he and gabe shared when they used to hang out and make 'out and about' videos, they were just two chill, awkward but entertaining guys.. The first out and about movie was decent because it felt much more 'real', for the most part they weren't acting, they were just chilling and doing their own thing, also it had real drama (Gabe getting mad at shawn and brendan over the locked-out incident, Shawn getting tired of gabe's jokes, etc) and everything just felt more real and genuine.
THIS on the other hand, oh boy... It was so scripted, everything from the elaborate camera angles to the poorly thought out and frankly terrible sub-plot about Gabe having a large amount of money in his fanny-pack (even though anyone who is an old fan knows that gabe NEVER has ANY money) and some strange scene where gabe seems to ditch the money and a truck comes and Brendan begins to overreact and freak out, even though the truck clearly says ''Linen'' on the side and is obviously just picking up the dirty laundry from the hotels to take away to clean. It's all very dull, forced and scripted. And what was with the long, obnoxious intro with a random segment about VHS and various trailers (clearly just plugging his friend's movie, but obnoxious none the less).
If they had just made a normal, laid-back out and about movie in Vegas like the last movie, that would have been far better, there was no need to script things, the whole movie felt fake and awkward. And Brendan's overreacting got old quickly, every second shouting and screaming things like ''WHAT THE HELL!?'', ''WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!'', ''WHERE ARE WE?!'', ''WHAT'S GOING ON!?'', ugh.
Also, there was another scene where Brendan hassles escorts with prank phone calls, GROW UP, they have to make a living and you acting like you're 14 years old and annoying them is not something that a grown man who is almost 40 years-old should do.
All in all, very disappointing. Take my advice, ignore this and just watch the first out and about movie.
