The story is created by the viewer. Is it a love meeting ? Is it a blackmail meet ? They are friends or enemies or strangers. The film gives the seed. The cinematography is seductive, the references to classic noir film are fair, the end is like surgery act. and the acting is, surprising maybe in the case of a so short film, just brilliant. So, a gem. Or inspired neo noir , respecting old recipe, giving the splendid use of it.

The Docks, a neo-noir micro short film, captures the past, present, and future in just one minute. In this film, we follow a couple engaged in a brief dialogue that feels like both a romantic date and an act of extortion.

As viewers, we witness the present events, receive flashbacks of what happened earlier, and catch glimpses of what's about to unfold in the near future. Yet, many questions remain unanswered: Who are these people? What is the nature of their relationship? Who was the person in the past? And what triggered the events in the past?

This intentional vagueness leaves much for the viewer to imagine. Perhaps the entire point is to create a mystery for us to solve, allowing each viewer to fill in the gaps as they see fit. Overall, this is a solid and intriguing ultra-short film.
