John Walkiewicz

Lives in Northwestern PA in a region once known as "the land of the
living snowflake". Graduated from General McLane.
Started as a film major at Edinboro University, but switched to Speech
& Communications. Employed for over 20 years at a local TV station;
currently directing evening newscasts & is a commercial
producer/editor. In 2013 he co-created the Erie Film LLC, an
entertainment company, with Greg Ropp (president of EHF & Spirit Quest,
& founder of FSNWPA), that oversees the Flagship City International
Film Festival, the Eerie Horror Film Festival, & The Northwestern
Pennsylvania Film Office Inc. The LLC is also working to bring film &
TV series productions to NW PA. Has worked for the Film Society of
Northwestern Pennsylvania; the Eerie Horror Fest; & the Spirit Quest
Film Fest. in different capacities.
