Sigvald Fivelsdal
Sigvard (not Sigvald) Fivelsdal was a Norwegian teenager, who was only 16 years when he fled to England after the Nazi-regime attacked Norway in April 1940. On Shetland he came in contact with the legendary skipper Leif Larsen , and became the youngest man on board. Nickname: Mickey. He came through the war, but with many tough memories. After the war he took a maritime education, and had always good contact with his old boss Larsen. Together with many of his war comrade's, including Larsen, he starred in the film about the dangerous trips across the north sea, Misión suicida (1954) Fivelsdal died in 1974, only 49 years.
