Boro Stjepanoviæ is an actor and Professor of Acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Cetinje, Montenegro. He worked as an assistant lecturer in Stage Speech (1971-1973) and Acting (1976-1981) in Belgrade. He also taught Acting in Sarajevo (1981-1992) and in Belgrade (1992-1993) and has been teaching the same subject in Cetinje since 1994. He has written two books on acting: "ACTING I; Developing one's own skills" and "ACTING II; Action". They present the first two volumes of a planned trilogy on actors' training. The third book "ACTING III; Play" is being prepared for publication. In these books the author has collected, described and systematized exercises used in actors' training. The exercises are supplied with theoretical explanatory introductions illuminating some relevant topics, with numerous examples and with instructions as to how to prepare, conduct and perform the exercises, how to comment on them and make necessary corrections.
