The rate I added is when I listened to this podcast hosted by Shannen, explaining her life, career, experiences, health issues etc. She was very candind and honest. Each week, mostly, had a guest who talked with her about fame, struggles, and everything in between. It was great, refershing, insightful... very good as well for people who were struggling about anything. Shannen was very strong yet so vulnerable sharing her cancer journey, that she brought a community together, everyone supporting one another.
Sadly, since she passed away, the purpose of the podcast is not clear, at least to me. At first some family and close friends hosted it, and I loved it. They shared their most cherished memories of Shannen. And I understand it must have been difficult for them, she was so young, very brave until the end. I understand maybe Shannen herself told them to keep on with the podcast, and maybe they couldn't, maybe it was overwhelming, maybe it was not their way to grief.
But then, some other people hosted the podcast. And more and more people that was not related to Shannen, that didn't knew Shannen, but that they were struggling with things. While it is important to give voice to these people, Shannen's podcast shouldn't be the place, in my opinion. Create another podcast for that, sure people will love listen to it. Now I would rate it just one or two stars, cause the topics are interesting, but not for here, not for Shannen's podcast.
They even didn't do anything for the first Shanne's heavenly birthday for heaven's sake!
I am sad it's not about her anymore. Her legacy, her memories... all lost and gone in the only official medium we had. I am not listening to it anymore. I miss Shannen.
Shannen, you'll never be forgotten.
