A wonderful treatment Arthur Conan Doyle and his Holmes. A

I really enjoy Lucy Worsley programmes as she takes us on a literary journey as if we were all along on an archeological dig. She's as a grand librarian sharing a passionate interest in Doylewith both old and new fans of this genre. It's exciting is this if we were investigating a case! And as a big Sherlock Holmes fan, this show very interesting.

Sherlock Holmes is real!

And discussion about Doyle's literary agent, and Oscar Wilde, Agatha Christie, and how they relate to Doyle.

She discussed about his mass market appeal, and how Doyle really wanted to just share his passion historical novels as he read when he was a child with his mother.

This was a fascinating, beautifully filmed, high quality show.
