This is a strange short film. At first, it doesn't feel like a horror story-but trust me, it is. You just have to wait for it.
For the most part, it's a very realistic monologue delivered by a woman-clearly a prisoner, sitting alone in an empty cell. She speaks about growing up in a broken home and eventually becoming trapped in a violent, abusive relationship. Sadly, stories like hers are all too common in the real world, and this one rings painfully true.
Every word she says could easily be taken as a real-life account. It's a deeply sad monologue, and visually, almost nothing happens throughout. Honestly, I'm not sure the eventual horror twist justifies watching the entire film-but the emotional weight of her story is undeniable.
