This show is beyond joyless. This show is so annoyingly smug it sucks the joy out of everything.
Truly a man who knows film. He wouldn't - couldn't accept anything that is not pure art. The Snob only approves of truly deep and meaningful films like Salo, and properly disregards trash like Caligula. From your exploitative, to your straight up pornography - The Snob destroys it all. This man has brought light to such classy, underrated geniuses like Pierre Kirby. And if you watch the shows of his pathetic, uneducated partners, such as Brad Jones, Kung Tai Ted, and even 80's Dan, there is a possibility for what some might call "entertainment." The Cinema Snob has the deep, loving voice that could set any woman's naughty regions on edge. Truly, this man is the definition of classy.
I admit that Cinema Snob is not as good as the Nostalgia Critic or Linkara. Then again, the IMDb seems to think otherwise. Brad claims his favorite show is "Mystery Science Theater 3000" which happens to be mine as well. You can easily see most of these movies appearing on that show. It's great as it's just fun to look at all these obscure movies. Granted, they're all bad, but you should acknowledge their existence. His reviews are much shorter compared to other critics on the website, but no less interesting.
There's tons of great jokes going on. I think Cinema Snob might have more episodes than any other review show I've ever heard of. I honestly think it'll take years for me to catch up on every single thing Brad has done. It's hard to say if I have a favorite episode as there are just so many. I think for me it might be the ET porno. I admit that the idea of reviewing porn is quite innovative. I'm not into it myself, but it's nice to see it being mocked like other movies that contain narrative.
It's fairly minimalistic and not as complicated as most other shows on Channel Awesome. It's still great to see such a massive number of reviews that show just how one guy is so eager to find so many appropriate movies. Like when I first watched MST3K, it's great to see how many movies he looks at that I've at least heard of. Of all the movies he's ever done, I've only seen a handful. It's weird to imagine how these films were even distributed. This really is a unique review show, 10/10!

I have a you-tube channel where I review bad, terrible movies in my cozy chair. This channel would not exist If it were not for Brad Jones. I've been a movie fan all my life but years ago, I thought if a movie wasn't Kubricky, it wasn't worth watching. After I saw the Snob, I watch Blacula, I spit on your grave, three the hard way, Caligula, Cannibal Holocaust, Sleepaway Camp. While most of those aren't good, It was a good lesson to learn and his snobby attitude and jokes make my day. He inspired me even today and I watch all his stuff, Hooker with a heart of Gold, LLoyd, Midnight Screenings and The Cinema Snob movie. Plus he introduced me to David a.r white
I absolutely adore this show. as an avid lover of all things movies; any youtube channel that is about movies has my undivided attention. not only that; but this show is funny. it's quite obvious that brad jones took inspiration from mystery science theater 3000 when he made this series. who would I recommend this to? lovers of movies, people who love humor, or just aspiring youtube critics looking to see how it's done. but steer clear of the show if you dislike jokes about religion or profanity. highly recommend it.
