Super Pupz is a lighthearted, fun series. It's family friendly, and gives you a laugh here and there. Overall it's an enjoyable show that is nice to relax to.
The show highlights four main dogs who each have extreme, unique abilities. They come from a company that wants to test on them, but luckily they are able to escape. However, the 5th smallest puppy is still stuck there. With the help of their newfound owners the four "pupz" must help the trapped puppy escape, and hopefully end the wrong-doings of these people in the meantime.
The quality of the content in this series really stands out to me. Each episode grabs my attention, and goes by pretty quickly. Another thing I enjoy about this show is its strong concept which is interesting. It is also something I have never seen done before, as far as the structure. In addition, the visuals are top-notch. The picture quality is very clear, and feels very fresh, and the storyline is engaging. Lastly, even though the series is very kid friendly, it's still very entertaining for all ages. This is important because it exposes young minds to good entertainment. Plus, it creates a strong family dynamic because parents are more likely to want to watch TV with their kids when it's about something that could also interest them.
The message of Super Pupz is that doing the right thing will always win in the end.
I give Super Pupz 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to ages 5 to 12. You can watch Super Pupz now on Netflix. By Mikella G., KIDS FIRST!

One year ago, an alien named Zeta crashed onto Earth, and is taking into custody, where the poor thing into custody. Cut to present day, and Zeta plots an escape with Luna, Otis, Champ, and Haggis, four stray puppies brought in by the government to help the research on her go more smoothly but ends up with her giving the four pups different superpowers. The pups escape, but Zeta is not so lucky, and the pups, alongside human children who take them in and keep their secret, must rescue her and help her get home.
Another series made by Robert Vince, the man who brought us Air Bud, Super PupZ feels like a series that could have been a spiritual successor to Super Buddies (if Super Buddies and the other Buddies movies were not under DIsney ownership). One of the things I have praise for is the use of real dogs in this instead of trying to use CGI (which sadly, still looks like PlayStation 2 quality, especially with Zeta, who looks like a cartoon cat, and a rat Haggis meets while escaping). Also, the voice actors do a good job voicing these heroic pups. However, this seems to be more for kids, as the show does not do anything to keep older folks hooked (although the third episode has a scene where an Animal Control officer is watching Air Bud, which makes me wonder how Robert got Disney to okay allowing them to use clips from that film), and the cute animals will end up turning some adults away (the only adults staying be the ones who are kids at heart or are parents with kids). Basically, one to watch with the kids.

My kids loved watching this series! The puppies were super cute and we adored the farm animals. Michael T is awesome and funny!
The kids loved it so much, they even watched the whole thing multiple times.
Very cute, thank you Air Buds for putting out another great show!

My kids thought the series was okay but even they were annoyed with some parts. The story kept them watching so there is a good base for the series at least.
Some of the acting was poor to very poor and some parts of the story didn't make sense or flow well.
The biggest thing for me was all the very obvious continuity flaws. The series could be so much better. With a small sprinkling of good acting and work that was really good in parts it was let down by all the failings.
Unfortunate that it wasn't better as could of been something as the idea of it was good just not produced and managed well enough.

The only thing worse than the writing is the acting. Harlon Williams and Dave Foley must have been desperate for money. There are far better kids shows to choose from.
