I can't tell if this is poor filmmaking or just zero knowledge in Direction and pacing.
I saw the trailer and I was instantly interested because the image looked very good. So it picked my interest to want to watch it. But later I found out that the movie was only on private screening with invite only, so I patiently waited until it was release publicly.
For starters, the direction of the movie was all over the place with unnecessary slow-motion clips, needless b-roll clips and overall the pacing felt extremely random.
95% of the cast are all popular/famous actors in Cyprus. OH BOY! Their acting skills were butchered so much because they decided to make the full movie Dubbed. Let me tell you how this was the WORST idea ever because the lip sync didn't match at all, the tone of voice was completely different from the actual image, and generally it felt like a mexican dubbed soap-opera.
This movie had all the elements to be great. Big names, an intriguing story, good lighting. Nothing came together however, and the final piece felt like a crew and director didn't know the fundamentals of narrative story pacing and wanted to prove their worth and validate their skills to the general public. It almost felt like a 2hour long music video.
I Hope they didn't spend so much money creating this unintelligible and disjointed film.
