The movie was advertised on a major streaming service's front page (Ruutu+), but turned out to be some kind of low-effort amateur film. While it was kind of cute in all its awkwardness, it should never have been placed side by side with actual professional productions. This is definitely not one, this should not be rated as one. The movie does not simply stand comparison with those in any way. The movie is merely a nice little curiosity to show the production team's family and friends, but very little more. Also, some viewers might find the strong religious undertone of the movie overwhelming.
I actually found it surprising there wasn't more reviews about this film. I absolutely enjoyed it.
Unlike the first and only review made it seem, the movie didn't even come close to a "low-budget" student project, it was a masterpiece. The original screenplay, script, extremely authentic scenery, and the yet quite unfamiliar actors made it a surprisingly fresh add to Finnish cinematography. I've actually quit watching domestic films due to big industries recycling the same dull faces from film to another. The characters in this film were pleasantly unexpected, odd, surprisingly convincing and comical and I was eager to find out where their story was headed at. I also shed a few tears towards the end.
What I personally found extremely amusing was the hyperbolic and underlined depiction of a Finnish villagemarket with it's super cringy two brothers behind the desk. The scene in it's all absurd was comedy at it's best. I highly recommend this film, wish you make some more of these!
