Story
The Bitter Cherry is the story of people who are trying to get a hold on their lives in the shadow of a cherry tree, the story of lost lives and proliferating hopes.
It talks about an old couple who are growing cherries, a dishonest carrier who is up to his ears in debt, a gangster who is a human trafficker, the immigrants who are deceived on their journey of hope, a father who is falling over backwards to save his son who has leukaemia. It is the story of the cherry which gathers Macedonia, with its many religions, many languages and many identities, around itself as a nation.

Too Bad

Turkey's best cinema/tv/theatre artists, a proven director... A disgraceful movie.

The actors did not even take the project seriously. Frames are better than furniture advertisement.

Thanks Netflix, what if we paid the movie theater to watch this bad movie?

Story is really impressive that caught you from your center of heart then link you with the lively events such as humanity and refugee...

You may not know what you will have faced...

Could be better

Primary lack of the scenario is dialogues. Unfortunately due to this error, it is hard to bond with characters in movie and this way you feel the acting in movie is bad, even though casting is great.

Second problem is being too dramatic and complex I believe. Movie tries to connect every character somehow but while doing these you keep asking yourself why is it necessary?
