Loved this awesome fantastic Christian movie obviously the bad reviews are non believers. Love Pat Boone and Eric Close. Would recommend this movie. I could definitely watch it over and over. It has a real good feel and storyline and shows that God can change anyone's heart with prayer and worship. All you have to do is admit you are a sinner and call out to Jesus and believe in your heart. I did not want the movie to end. The most touching moment was when the Father confessed his wrongdoing and was in the car with his son. The acting and music was great. The scenery was lovely and like I said would watch again.
It was great seeing Pat Boone doing this kind of role. Perfect fit for him. I've always liked Eric Close and he did a very good job with this role. Overall, yes it's a religous inspirational movie but if you go into it with an unbiased approach and just take it as it comes you'll find it is a good movie with a good solid life message. I'm not very religious myself but do enjoy a well written clean movie. In this day and age you don't see many so when you find one, it's good that I can leave a review for it.
Not enough of these good natured good hearted movies come out. Support them so we can have more.

My wife and I LOVED this film. It was well made, well acted, and the choreography was excellent. Pat Boone was FANTASTIC as "the mentor" to a young man who needed some guidance with his life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this film as an EXCELLENT way to have a night out with the family and friends. It isn't too preachy, and gets it's message across in a very kind (and sometimes funny) way. I'm not going to give anything away, but if you need a "second chance" at anything in your life...go check this film out...it MAY help YOU.
Toodles.

A parable about second chances, based on the book by Wally Armstrong and Ken Blanchard.
Paul McAllister is a high powered businessman, too busy for his family, and always chasing the next big deal. Hoping to improve his gold game he meets with a man known as the Old Pro who teaches him the secret of The Mulligan.
The movie is slower to start, but as the movie picked up it was fun to learn more about the game of golf, and see pieces all come together. I really liked that they didn't shy away from a strong faith-based message of hope. The Old Pro, played by Pat Boone, is such a fun character, with his plaid golfing pants, and patient way of giving out sage advice. The movie was well done, and I thought that it did a good job of showing the importance of family, honesty, and faith.
Overall, I was a little unsure about this movie in the beginning as I am in no shape or form a golfer or golf enthusiast, but as the story progressed and the foundation laid at the beginning began to pay off I found myself genuinely enjoying it. By the end it had won me over. A solid movie, well acted, great plot, and a powerful message of faith, integrity and family!

Why they refer to this as a movie is beyond me. At best it could pass as a cheaply made, boring, below average television production.
C-listed actors in a completely BLAND story, which did do one thing and one thing only: it bored me and it annoyed me because of it's cheap sentiment.
