Detective Chinatown 3

This is the third installment in the franchise. It's a lot more of the same, which is not necessarily a bad thing. A lot of the gags in this movie land better for me than the second movie. The second movie was okay for me. This one is better in my book. The mystery is not as strong as the last two entries, but somehow i feel like the plot is better. If you're as into the franchise as I am, it's very satisfying to see everything tie together (especially the tie ins from the IQiyi TV series). You'll see Lin Mo and Noda Hiroshi's brother from the TV show. The movie is very fun and it never seems to slow down. I don't think it hits the highs of the first movie but it's still really good.
