DEUCE BIGALOW (or "Deuce Not So Big Below" as he was called in this film! Lol!) is back, this time to be a "man-whore" in Europe! This sequel of DEUCE BIGALOW: MALE GIGOLO is pretty funny too, but even so, I think the first one was a bit more hilarious. But this one is very comical either.
I especially appreciated the part when they explain how to do a "Portuguese breakfast"!... I'm Portuguese and I've never heard of that (because it's just a joke, of course!). Maybe I should try it someday! Lol!
It was also nice the portrait of Amsterdam done in this movie, because it's too exaggerated, but it really must be what Americans think of Amsterdam I suppose! The scene where the cop is lightning TJ's joint, at the coffee-shop, or the scene where this guy says that the truck full of Marijuana that he's driving is to his daughter's birthday party, which is going to make 13, are hilarious and are hyperboles that clearly prove that exaggeration I mentioned.
Once again Rob Schneider does a great job in this funny and entertaining movie.

This film was about Deuce Bigalow in the liberal Amsterdam to find the killer of man whores. Through the process, he was in for some culture shock and some man whoring.
The plot was silly and very politically incorrect. There were plenty of gross moments, such as vomiting wine through a tracheostomy hole or eating chips submerged in the toilet bowl.
However, I did not stop laughing throughout the film because Rob Schneider was so funny. He gave Deuce Bigalow a cute and innocent charm which was important in making Deuce Bigalow likable. The film was good for some light and non serious entertainment.

It took 6 long years for our favourite he-bitch to return to the big screen, and this time, he singlehandedly takes on the entire male-whore population of Europe. Well, not quite. You see, the title's a misnomer, he's an American Gigolo, not European. Set in Europe you say? Only Amsterdam, where weed is legal. Doesn't even set foot in Pisa, where the poster suggests the Leaning Tower.
Many critics can't wait to slam this movie, but hey, what do critics know anyway? It's a crass movie, so steer clear if you can't take crass. You can experience the usual unpolitical-correct physical comedy on blind people, animals, the obvious dig on America and its war on terror, Canadians misbehaving themselves, nude weather girls, and yes, lots and lots of sexual humour on the male appendage and various discharge.
But I'm not all praise for this movie either, even though I was in crass-mode. There are some moments where it seemed a little contrived, that Deuce was being dumb for the sake of being dumb (he wasn't that bad in the first). Some jokes were bordering on the lame, and what made the first part interesting - the various weird girls that Deuce encounters, were very quickly glossed over.
Perhaps the filmmakers wanted a refreshing perspective, but yet unsure whether to take a totally different direction altogether. The girls became a peripheral plot to the main one, that of Deuce tracking down a serial man-whore killer in Amsterdam, and in doing so, would help to clear his friend, TJ, as the suspect. With a serial killer on the loose, the gigolos are so afraid of plying their wares, that their excuses make comic situations too.
Not since Pulp Fiction (in my limited experience) was Amsterdam so prominently mentioned / used in an American movie. The dialogue on coffeeshops brought back memories of my time in Amsterdam (no, I did not smoke nor inhale, in case you're wondering), and so do some of the scenery (I've been there!) And while there are some good looking jocks in this movie for the girls to ogle at, the guys will probably have their eyes transfixed on Hanna Verboom, who plays Deuce's main squeeze Eva. The Elite Model Look of the Year 2003 is mesmerizing - some guys have all the luck.
It might not be THE comedy of the year, but it certainly has its moments. This movie certainly is crying out the need for a better pimp!

Today is the first day I've ever watched it & it's already up there as an all time favorite. I was born in '96 & all of my favorite comedies seem to be Sandler & his friend's movies as well as that era. I haven't seen anything released in the last 5 years that was this funny. This is some original comedy & it's genius. Is it a bit cheesy? Of course, but the way it's done is incredibly funny. The script had me laughing out loud many times & I haven't done that for awhile so it was refreshing. This is some free speech, original, anti-woke, over the line hilarious stuff. This is the type of comedy my friends laugh at & used to always laugh at growing up & it's just not displayed like this anymore in modern movies. Hope this kind of comedy comes back! Deuce is the man!
I loved 'Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo.'Even though the sequel was much funnier than the first,I can't admit that it was as good as the first.Sure, there were more funnier moments in it,but the first had more potential. The plot is basically the same as 'Male Gigolo',only it takes place in Amsterdam.Rob Schneider and Eddie Grifin return to their same roles as in the first.Rob Schneider plays Deuce Bigalow and Eddie Griffin plays TJ the man-whore.So you can tell that there's a good cast in this movie, since those are the only actors that I know in the movie. There's more gross-out humor and inappropriate dialouge than the first, which basically keeps the movie flowing.
Bottom line? This is a worth-watching comedy that fans of the first movie will enjoy.

- CuriosidadesHappy Madison Productions moved the film to Columbia Pictures to produce the sequel due to creative differences with Touchstone Pictures. The Walt Disney Company (Touchstone's parent company) wanted a PG-13 sequel while Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider wanted it to be R-rated like Gigoló (1999).
- PifiasEva cannot touch doorknobs supposedly, but in the montage of Deuce going out on a date with her, she clearly opens the door and touches the doorknob.
- Citas
T.J. Hicks: Did you know Holland invented chicken and waffles?
Deuce Bigalow: Really?
T.J. Hicks: Before that you could get chicken or waffles, but they were the first to put them together! Black people all over the world will be forever grateful to the Dutch for that.
Deuce Bigalow: You know the Dutch started the slave trade.
T.J. Hicks: THOSE MOTHER FUCKERS!
