Wat's happened to Italian cinema? this is my question. i was in German at first sixteen and loved the revolution of a new Italian generation with international style. i followed many director like Sergio Leone, Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava, Fernando Di Leo and Renato G. Castellari, they were great Masters but when i came back in Italy in 1989 my dream was broken! Now i love Maruzio Nichetti but the film that i preferred are vanished. I remember in 1966 "the last man on the ground" with Vincent Price and for me the last best picture of the Italian b-movie. I saw Inseguito and i tasted one great idea in a low budget. Why Hollywood don't think a remake? Well... Fabio Testi is superlative, only imperfection are in cinematography. i give 10 for encouragement because today Italian cinema is a great swindle, Benigni too. We have to produce this new style, with this new generation of director and end with our Italian pain and old and stupid story. I scream just today (24/09/2008) when i known that "Gomorra" go to the Oscar. I use this page because Italian movie need this man at work and young director that could be very strong all over the world about this Guardabascio's movie, i have, finally;), "Inseguito" on DVD was a present for gratis and very extended version;) there is 91 minutes version and in the extra 9 minutes of director's cut, trailers, backsatg4e and photo:O) i just saw the backstage on this movie, is on the net: "you tube" click "backstage Inseguito" is funny. Many greetings for Italian cinema we hope for next Oscar! Today, MARCH 2009. No Oscar for us;( I m sorry for this, what is bad in our cinema? Maybe politician or old-old director, maybe? Mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybeeeeeeeeeee!;)

An excellent example of noir movie. I love this character and Fabio Testi is superlative like his past. I wish know how is possible write an intricate plot because i have to watch this movie 3 time for understand and at the end i scream: wow! All the episodes are in fusion with dialogue and flash back or flash forward. I think that this movie is a new style of cult-movie and an intelligence marketing experience. For answer to Essere Vito from S.Paolo...i saw 4 different movies: 100 minutes, 97 minutes, 93 minutes and 91 minutes, but the film had some difference inside about story, about editing, about cinematography, the best is 91 (perfect) but i love, love love this story.

Remember? i'm was a fan about this movie, if you go on site about Guardabascio's new production. Now in internet you can found some information about Inseguito and a new film drama-noir filmed by Luca Guardabascio named "Addio Notte Bianca", the protagonists are always in this opera Andoni Aresti Landa, Nanni Candelari, Daniele Natali, Pino D'Aloia and Luca Guardabascio too. I saw the trailer and it is very emotional, music is cool and it's composed about a swiss group named Puts Marie. well, now i wait for see this new big opera. Inseguito was product with a few money but the screen player was very strong and intricate, then i saw some production about the equips of Inseguito. Daniele Natali(vote 6), Lidia Vitale(vote7), Nanni "the great" Candelari (vote 9), Pino D'Aloia(6) and Andoni Aresti Landa(6) worked like actores in new movie or TV movie but the only best is "La meglio gioventù" by Marco Tullio Giordana with Lidia Vitale (vote 10). Luca Guardabascio worked like actor (vote 7) or director (vote 9) in many after hours on European TV and Fabio Testi began a trash reality man or a presentialist in Italian and Spain TV and my vote for him is 5--.

why i watched two film? the Italian version of this movie :94' is very cool, i saw two version the first was with Spanish subtitles in 16 millimeter but i don't understand very well the movie, in the Italian digital version this movie is great and very clear, it's a perfect and intricate game and i was finally happy! This movie is a cult movie but why there are two version Spanish my vote is 6-, Italian is 10. what is the direction cut? i wait to watch another film, maybe in Japanese because i love this independent Italian movie but it's difficult to find a distributor in south America and our circuit prefer the old European director or maybe commercial version about independent movie.

i saw a new movie in Palermo of this troupe named "Addio Notte Bianca" but why i don't' read nothing about this new excellent movie? Luca Guardabascio confirm the innovative style of his first opera Inseguito and go in the heaven with this best movie. In Inseguito i understood the independent style but in second movie found the very soul of the Italian cinema: Neo-Realism like Zavattini. Guarabascio love the noir story but if in Inseguito was a genre exercises in his second movie all genre are in fusion in a kaleidoscopic of beautiful cinema. i wait the news in this site for give 10 at another Italian independent great movie!
