Hermanas

Nora Ruscio (Marsha Mason) and Howie Ruscio (Alex Rocco) are empty-nesters. Nora's boss has just died and left the firm with his insufferable nephew Warren Morris (Dan Castellaneta). Howie wants her to quit, but it turns out that most of the clients want her. Then there are her two younger sisters. Lily (Jami Gertz) lives with her bohemian artist boyfriend. After she gets dumped, she is forced to live with Nora. Audie (Margaret Colin) is a broke real estate agent due to the market and her struggling sobriety.

On a side note, I don't understand why the girls all have the Ruscio name in the cast list. That's got to be a mistake. The show didn't even air half of its first season before getting canceled. Apparently, it had low viewer ratings although today's shows would kill for those numbers. This starts with a sitcomy premise. Maybe they could have gone more unrealistic sitcom by having both younger sisters move into the house. I like all three ladies. I would have liked to see all three banter more and living together would help. There are a few laughs, but the show never really takes off.
