Great short about a war torn family from the civil war

I liked this story about a family that is torn apart during the civil war. The short has a lot packed into a short time frame. Only complaint I have is that I wish it could have been longer. I felt the pain of the family, although more back story of characters such as Billy and others in the town would have added to this film. I would suggest perhaps a short about the brothers time during the their time apart or a short about the brothers after the civil war. Perhaps have them move west and have them heal old wounds. Just a thought.
