Bhasker Vishwanathan(I)

Bhasker is a versatile director whose works have won praise from critics both domestically and abroad. At the 10th Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) in Jaipur, he won the Best Director Critics Choice Award for his short film "Behrupiya - The Impersonator," which had its world premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. "Freedom Fighter," another noteworthy piece, made its festival debut at the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival and went on to win multiple accolades at various festivals such as BOISFF, SiGNS, and the South Asian Short Film Festival.

The Hindi feature film "Bhor - 2021," which debuted at the 49th IFFI in Goa and was chosen for over 25 festivals worldwide, included Bhasker in a key role as co-writer and associate director. Along with showing off his screenplay skills in "75 CMOT" at the 53rd IFFI in Goa, he was assistant director on "Love All," starring Kay Kay Menon. At the 77th Festival de Cannes in 2024, Bhasker walked the red carpet to showcase his debut feature film at the "Marché du Film" and to premiere the trailer for his movie "Attempt One." This achievement highlights his growing stature in the motion picture industry.
