Katherine Sainte-Marie is an actress, writer, and director. Trained in the Meisner and Chekhov acting techniques, she brings emotional depth to her artistic endeavors. Her folk-horror film, The Devil in Bitter Woods, garnered a nomination for a Wes Craven Award, while her dark retelling of Peter Pan, entitled Darling, Darling, Wendy, won numerous 'best of fest' accolades. She is also the recipient of Showtime's Tony Cox Screenplay Award for a gothic horror script. To date, her work has been featured in over 60 film festivals across 10 countries, including the acclaimed Sonoma, Nantucket, and Nashville Film Festivals, as well as genre showcases like FilmQuest, Horrible Imaginings, and Canada's Terror in the Bay.
