Elodie Beaumont

Elodie Beaumont spent her entire childhood in Eastern France. As a teenager, cinema became a curiosity and then an immoderate taste, on her best friend's old sofa with whom she watched recorded VHS and downloaded films. This passion does not leave her, but she embraces a completely different path, because taking the gamble of an artistic career is not an audacity that is allowed in the modest environment from which she comes. She therefore turned to communication, while having the constant feeling of a lack, of frustration. Six years ago, she left her job to devote herself entirely to cinema: after two self-produced short films, she directed "Chasse gardée" in 2022. She is currently preparing her first documentary, "Jolie petite histoire", and her second short film, "Suzanne se meurt" produced by Paraiso Production.
