The premise to this film had fantastic potential and the storyline/plot could have been a VERY effective horror story, but the acting of the entire cast was so subpar that a kindergarten class could have made a better adaption of the story!
Played correctly the elements of the plot could have built upon each other and become a compelling horror/drama which would have built tension right up the conclusion, but it is impossible feel fear and tension when the acting is so bad that it resembles a clownish cartoon comedy.
The main character "Tyler" is wooden and at times goes in the opposite direction making overblown emotions into a caricature of a disturbed or haunted person. He was absurd in the part and brought the role into the realm of parody! In other words he STANK!
The rest of the cast was barely a step above his dismal acting. They were all wooden and the teenaged "mean girls" and bad boys sounded as if they were reading the script out loud for the first time in a monotone voice.
The ruination of a good plot by horrendous acting puts this film in the tragedy category!
WHAT A WASTE!

I root for amateur film makers; where else would we have the brilliance of "Clerks"? Sadly this is an example of when not to root for an amateur flick maker, and in deed, to discourage them before they film again. The acting - as bad as 70s porn (but without the compensation of nudity and sex). The story - slow, dull and trite. The direction - the standard "Stick the video camera in the actor's or actress's face for a close-up whenever possible for dramatic affect.. This work is almost unwatchable. Noting the director's extensive technical experience in working on movies, I would think she would have learned something about writing and directing, but none of that is evidenced here. Yes, this review is harsh, and I regret that, but not unduly harsh if I can warn would-be viewers away from this robbery of time.
Cardboard, one dimensional characters. Non-existent budget. No-name cast. Over-the-top, piss poor acting. There is nothing even remotely likeable about this movie. This is a film where you want everyone to die, and I mean everyone.
"Mister White" was written, directed, and produced by Erica Sommers. Based upon the quality of this particular production, I do not foresee a brilliant future in cinema for her. I've seen vintage ABC After School Specials that were more compelling and more interesting than this movie.
Watching a fresh dog turd drying up on a sidewalk on a hot summer day would be more worthwhile and rewarding than this rancid bowel movement of a movie. Giving it even one star is entirely too generous.

I couldn't even get past the opening scene. It is that bad. The acting isn't remotely even tolerable. So I cut it off as I knew what to expect for the rest of the "film".
