In actuality, it would be Daylight Saving Time in August 2020 and the times should be listed as EDT.

All the portals had same dimension, more like a 4x8 feet door at most. There is no way an entire car can go through it, as was shown at 7:55. if the car collided with it and stopped, then the 3 persons in the car never came into physical contact with the portal, so there is no way they could have gone into the portal.

You Can Only Bend A Genre So Far

In a word? Boring. Monoliths inexplicably turn up all over the world with inexplicable consequences. That's it really. No one seems to know what's going on. Not the characters. Not the actors. Not the director and certainly not the writers. A genre so bent that NOTHING makes sense and it's all a complete waste of your time.
