This is a straight to video sequel for the franchise. This looks cheap and Wagner does not fit the role at all. Then, it turns into A Christmas Carol which only defeats the character of Mr. Wilson even more. It starts out well with Dennis starting that school chaos but the movie stumbles around for the rest of it.
WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesDuring the opening and closing credits, you can hear the main theme from Dennis (1993), composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
- PatzerMr Wilson's name is in the Secret Santa even though he does not participate, meaning that there will be an odd person out who does not get a gift.
- Zitate
[Dennis and Mr. Wilson carry dozens of shopping bags]
Dennis Mitchell: Careful, Mr. Wilson.
George Wilson: Don't worry about me, Dennis. I was a dancer in my youth. Two-time regional division tap dance champion.
Dennis Mitchell: [looks at a shiny red bike through a shop's display window] There it is!
George Wilson: What is?
Dennis Mitchell: The Mighty Max.
George Wilson: [leans in for a better look] A bicycle.
Dennis Mitchell: It's majestic.
George Wilson: Do you even know what that word means?
Jack Bratcher: Hey, Mitchell! Ready to lose on Christmas Day? Loser!
[rides away on his bike]
George Wilson: What an unfortunate little boy.
Dennis Mitchell: Hey, Mr. Wilson, you dropped your present.
[Dennis bends down to pick it up; Mr. Wilson trips over Dennis and lands flat on his back]
Dennis Mitchell: Mr. Wilson, I thought you said you could dance.
[cut to a hospital room; Mr. Wilson lies down in bed]
George Wilson: I hate Christmas.
Martha Wilson: Yes, dear.
[Mr. Wilson drinks water through a straw]
