I discovered more pieces of Greek Orthodox traditions of wake than Irish, from the covered mirror and men in kitchen to the Mother with Child.

The only sin - maybe the predictability. You feel the something bad from the first scenes, including the drinking exercise. A sacrifice to save the loved one. Not so original. But well crafted.
