And he wants to transform Bärbel's estate into a sanctuary for old animals under his own leadership. He starts with his great aunt's two loyal Rottweilers, who were actually supposed to be put down and who from now on never leave his side. With his plans, however, Achim puts himself between all stools. The greedy ox farmer already saw Bärbel's farm as a lucrative trading point for cheap export cattle. Meanwhile, Achim's daughter Anna, an easy-going veterinarian, and his son Arnulf fear for their inheritance if Boris gets his father's farm - although on the other hand they are trying to emancipate themselves from their caring Pappa. Only Achim's youngest son, Achim junior, supports his father. So the big family reunion ends in a big family row. Only when the stressed Achim collapses at the wheel of his car a little later does the clan come to their senses.
