- Pre-war, elegant Warsaw, the Olympic arena in Amsterdam and the wilderness of eastern Poland. Konopacka crossed it in September 1939 as one of the drivers of the convoy evacuating the reserves of the Bank of Poland, led by her husband, Colonel Ignacy Matuszewski. The action takes place on two time planes: the dramatic evacuation of the Bank of Poland's reserves is complemented by flashbacks, which present the most important events in the life of the main character.
- "NEGATYW" ("THE NEGATIVE") The main character of this cinema is Karol Weber. He was born in the middle of 70's. As a boy he lived in a small town with his parents. They've received a house in exchange for work in a local school. His mom was an art teacher, dad was making a photo class in the same school. We are meeting Karol in the middle of three very important periods of his life - at the age of 7th, when his mother left him. At the 18th years old, when he fall in love for the first time and contemporary at the age of 47, when he is celebrating 25 anniversary of his work as a photographer. After his photo exhibition he has obtained information about his father's death. Karol is going to bury him. During his train journey, he's got a lot of flashback and memories from the most important moments of his life. It's kind of catharsis. This comeback to the home town is something between dreams and reality, between life and death, he gets in to the labyrinth and nothing is at it seems. It would appear that our memory is illusory and most often we remember our versions of occurrences.

- Stanislaw Marusarz, a well-known Polish jumper, including: the 1938 world vice-champion in Lahti, four-time Olympian, seven-time participant in the ski world championships, as well as a second lieutenant of the Home Army, a Tatra courier. From the first months of the occupation, he was active in the underground as a courier of the Underground State to Hungary. In 1940, he jumped from the second floor and escaped from the Gestapo prison in Krakow. After the war, he was one of the longest active ski jumping athletes in the world. Marusarz became the guest of honor at the 4-Hills-Tournament in the 1965-66 season. He stood on the famous Gross-Titlis-Schanze at the age of 53 - his jump in a suit and tie has made his legacy. Marusarz's spectacular jump in a suit during the Four Hills Tournament '66 became a pretext to tell his fate, as well as the story of his sister Helena - a talented skier, participant of the Resistance Movement, murdered by the Nazis in 1941.
