My original ‘need’ for a mini loader was to shift the impact of landscaping from my body to a machine! Machines don’t have feelings! (although I’ve become so attached to our Kanga’s that I could be swayed on that idea!) So we purchased our first Kanga for lawn and paving installs. The choice of a stand on skid steer was it’s muscle, ease of use and maneuverability. There just wasn’t another machine that came close to this option for our work.
I had a mate who used to manage a hire company branch and they only used Kanga loaders. He was also a mechanic and ended up in the landscaping field. I couldn’t have a better reference from someone that personally purchased an ex-hire Kanga from his old fleet! We ended up buying that machine and have since added to it’s number.
We conduct both dry and wet hire in our business and have been receiving multiple requests each week for a sub meter access loader. To address this growing need, Kanga really offered the best of limited options in the 800mm field of mini skid steer loaders. Plus, the ‘baby Kanga’ gives my four children the idea that our Kanga Loaders actually breed! As homeschoolers, it helps to teaching them the birds and bees!
The Kanga TK216 or ‘Kid’ has helped us address a growing need in the market. Urban access on sites is becoming smaller each day and we want to provide a complete tight access dry and wet hire service. The TK216 has filled that spot and has now become a necessary part of our fleet.
