Description
Sandy Robertson helps you answer the question, why am I eating this? She has worked in the business and health fields for 25 years, leading wellness and obesity programs. Sandy is also a Certified Medical Intuitive (CMIP) and a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP). She combines traditional medicine with mind-body techniques to promote well-being. In a world that's all about trendy diets and quick fixes, it's easy to forget what really feeds our soul. If you're tired of diets that only focus on counting calories and limiting food, get ready for a new way to approach weight loss. “Why Am I Eating This?” isn't just another diet—it's a holistic journey to mindful eating and long-lasting change. Sandy's seven-point plan goes beyond what's on your plate, exploring your desires and uncovering the truth about why you eat the way you do.

Effect On Emotions
Mindfulness has given me tools to reset. Instead of going from zero to 100, mindfulness helps me shift in the moment. We choose and reset and take a breath.
Thoughts On Breathing
Regarding breathing, I will share a quote by Joan Burry Sanko [not clear who this author is]. She's written many wonderful books. I met her at a conference many years ago. And she talks about how the breath is always with you. And I love to remind my clients and colleagues and also myself.
My breath is always with me wherever I go. I take a breath to read and choose to clear, and it's a powerful reminder of how powerful our breath is to guide us and comfort us and aerate our lungs and our brain.
Bullying Story
The story that comes to mind is actually one that I experienced as a child. And when I was growing up, the word bullying wasn't used as much as it is today. And I can say, with all the love in the world, my mother's in heaven now. But at times my mother could be a bully. And I feel mindfulness would have helped me a lot. It also would have helped her.
So, I love that mindfulness and mindful self-compassion are being woven into school curriculums, even elementary schools. Back to the power and mindfulness of stopping and pausing and reseting instead of going into react.
I feel strongly that embedding tools of quieting the mind and body, stopping and taking a breath, and resetting are good for people of all ages in every culture, wherever you live.
