One Hundred Haikus

About this ebook
One Hundred Haikus,
A collection of 100 Haikus (101 if you include the full book title). Including a very basic introduction to the poetic form of Haiku. Tony Hibberd uses the rigid Haiku structure rules of 3 lines of 5,7,5 syllables to communicate mini narratives to his readers. Arranged alphabetically by title, each of the 3 line wonders are written to invoke varying emotions in the reader. From poignant through thought provoking via humorous to downright silly, this book is designed to keep the reader on their mental toes.
In keeping with the style of his other poetry books, no subject is too large, small or obscure to receive his slightly off centre observations. After all how many other people have included Salieri, Beethoven, Tutankhamun, Macbeth, mosquito larvae, oysters and space in the same book, that alone without including Lorazepam, leroux, Dr.Doolittle and Achluophobia as narrative content. If you are a poetic purist, it may be well to pass this book by, but you would never know what you're missing.
For the rest of humanity. please enjoy.
Tony Hibberd
Tony Hibberd was born in the east end of London (presumably to be close to his Mother). Now rapidly approaching his mid sixties but still alive and kicking (as far as he can tell). Having now the benefit of his extended family currently raising families of their own (12 Grandchildren and counting), he thought it was about time he got around to sharing his thoughts and musings with the world....Sorry world.

Many thanks to my wife, family and friends
All of who have put up with my testing the contents of this book on them,
assessing their feedback…
and ignoring it.
Only joking
But basically if you, my reading public,
for some obscure reason do not like this book …
It’s their fault, not mine.
