Adventures of Midnight the Cat

About this ebook
this is a very entertaining and touching story about midnight's adventures, told from his point of view, beginning with life as a kitten, taking advantage of education his mom provided, finding his home after his family was abandoned, his vacation in the rocky mountains and alaska, and the epic aftermath of his home alone party and the cat nip party at the cat phoenician resort and much much more.
my home
one day, much to my surprise, the short one, my master, said to me that i was more dog like than cat like because of my outstanding personality. at first i was insulted. dogs, even rufus, slobbered all over everything. hunter the schnauzer slobbered. the dogs in the veterinarians office slobbered. rufus always fell all over himself when the humans came home, wagging his tail and whining. i think that he wanted attention and a treat. maybe all dogs have some kind of attention complex, but i don't. at mealtime rufus would sit and stare at the humans and when a crumb fell, he jumped on it as if he hadn't eaten in a week. i still think he ate all the food so that the humans couldn't afford to keep us.
alaska vacation
The highlight of the trip was when we passed a small pond about 15 feet from the road where a black bear was getting a drink. the short one insisted that the tall one turn the motor home around so that she could get pictures of the bear. when we got back to the pond, some tourists were standing about ten feet in front of the bear taking pictures..i often wonder about the brilliance of tourists. at least cats are smart enough not to stand in front of an animal that could eat us. that was one of the first lessons my mom taught us kittens. maybe the tourists mom's didn't care if their kids were eaten or not.

I was born in the southwest desert. I had three sisters and three brothers. I was the fourth brother. Boy, did we ever have fun. The house that we were born in had a doggie door. Our Master had a Rottweiler named Rufus, who just loved us. He played with us all the time and protected us from the coyote and other dogs. At night, we would sneak outside to play with our mom and Rufus. Our mom taught us how to hunt. She said that you couldn't always depend on humans for water and food and that we had better learn to be self-sufficient or possibly starve. During the mornings, my mom taught us arithmetic, how to read, write, tell time and cross the road without getting hit. She said that she didn't want any dumb kittens. Her teachings really helped me in my life as you will see.
We all remember the night that we were outside playing
