Hunter and His Friends Odessy in the Big Forest - Haley-Amore Henry
Chapter 1
T
here was a kitten named Hunter, and he loved to play. One day he and his friends, Erozion, Emilly, Eroze and Pounce, were playing in the forest far from home when a sudden rustle in a nearby bush startled them. A large female fox emerged, blocking their way home. They froze like a statue making the fox not notice them.
The kittens ran into a clearing surrounded by lots of trees; there was a set of bright, illuminated red eyes glaring at them through the shadows of the trees. hissed Erozion.
I don’t know, but did I mention I’m afraid of heights?
asked Eroze.
Never,
muttered Erozion rolling her eyes.
Then Hunter, the striped cat, mewed, I’ll get him; I’m the strongest.
No cat could object to what he had mewed, so they allowed him up the tree. Then he urged, one paw at a time to the nearest branch.
Soon enough, Hunter and Eroze were panting on the grass. Then Eroze’s ear twitched. Did you hear that?
Eroze meowed to the others. Nope,
sleepily replied to the kittens as they fell asleep, exhausted from the playing they had been doing earlier.
Eroze’s instincts were telling him to find the source of whatever he heard. He slowly got up and moved away.
Then Emilly
