    The Texting Game is a game with non-fictional characters. The characters never appear in any conversation. Each character is a receiver of random text messages projected as gold mail. The key to the game; solicit text messages for the gain of gold mail! This gold mail icon is a transmitting signal flashing across my cellular phone screen representing the acceptance and submission of a text message through this former small cell phone device known as ‘Nokia’ in my possession. Phone service is text message only. Phone calls are necessary but, a gold mail pop up inbox message is what it’s all about. Everyone recognizes these cell phones as free nights and free weekends, which may not be that critical to the millennia’s! To my knowledge I am the only one with this phone. I anticipate gold mail coming in. I sent the gold mail out! Welcome to the Texting Game.

      The first four and three-quarter pages of text flash across screen as beginning credits roll. (One text is equivalent to a credit). Movie starts at Janez: (You think you like me). Seven question text message pending… Are you missing my phone call? (Lol). Do you keep your voice mail? Are you about your business? You do what you want when you feel like it? You’re not immature? Are you? When do you graduate?… May… Movie begins person to person, You think you like me? Yeah. I need to get to know you more though. True. I’ll say me too. I said. Okay. You got something to do tomorrow? Yeah, I got a basketball game. She replied. Score three points for me. I cheered. Lol. Only… Three? She sighed. (Outgoing text to Brit Brit, Is there a meeting today 3:00 or 3:30? I begged [11:08:13am12-28-09]. Are you playing in a tournament? I asked Janez. Yeah. She responded. What time do you play? 4:30 Said Janez. Later that evening after the game…

I’m moving slow preparing myself. You think you can handle long distance relationship? I ponder. Yea. She exclaimed. You don’t like it? I wondered. Yea. She exclaimed. I done been in one before. I’m in one right now. She elaborated. I never made it work. I informed. It’s ok sometimes, but I just start getting frustrated and stuff when I can’t see him . She cried. You can’t be serious! I silently shouted. Yeah. She continued. "You got to get used to talking with me. I suggested.

      Did you talk with dad 4:16:55pm?… Later that night I was working Janez hit me up on the text: (You never did tell me your name (:*D3t3.min3d*!signature) [9:48:03pm]. At home I sent a birthday message to my stepdad Happy birthday Chief. Later that night I told Janez, if I get sleepy I will keep my phone on vibrate in case you call [11:21:29pm]. Before I really tried to go to sleep I tried to get me a little cake time in so, I sent Janez a message talking about basketball, You play ball all this week [11:42:18pm]? Get good rest and drink bottled water. I’m drinking beer and liquor [12:04:30am/12/30/09]. I don’t get shit back. I finally introduce my name if I got through after I said, I want to hear from you tonight [3:59:31pm]. Okay I will call you [4:00:07pm]. Call later so I know you remember my name if you remember [4:04:26pm]. Yeah. I can remember-it [4:07:03pm]. Hey. What u up to? What’s up? I was just thinking about you. For real? Yeah, plus I talk to you before I went to sleep Tuesday. Continuing the conversation; I’m just smoking chilling cooling. What about you? Just hit me up anytime. If ringer is off tax me. I meant text me. What position do you play? I play Center. You play a good game? Yeah. What you make? 14. [Text message: You play tonight too [2:20:07pm/12/31/09]? What are you doing for New Years? I’m just chilling round the house trying to start conversation. It’s boring by now and I don’t get anything back.
