They say in the beginning

There’s eight angels by your side

After a turn of a year

An angel takes a flight

God calls upon one angel

To stay and take care of you

When God calls you back to heaven

One Hundred Balloons

One hundred balloons went to the sky, the day we set you to rest.

That day God gave you wings to fly, we were all set to a test.

Who would let you go? Which one will accept you’re an angel now?

Little did I know, I don’t really accept it now.

Too young to deal with what was done.

Too young to realize you were truly gone.

All my life it was rough.

Then when I thought it was okay, it began to get tough.

One day, someday, I hope He will realize how much I needed you

I think of what it was meant for

But because I miss you, I don’t care about it anymore.

All I want is how it use to be, but maybe it’s for the best of me.

The Things I Mean To Tell You

There are things I mean to tell you, but when I get the nerve to,

Words just don’t come out because of you, my memory freezes,

I don’t know what to do.

When I’m with you it’s happiness. You bring no worries, no sadness,

You fill my loneliness.

There’s no hurries, the world begins to slow, when we are together.

So my times with you could flow. It’s as if it was meant for us to be forever.

But the day I tell you, these things I mean to show, will be the day I let go

With heartbreak and sorrow,

I say goodbye to you.

Knowing that I won’t see you tomorrow,

The next day or forever, makes me cry for you.

I know you’re gone,

And I’m hurting inside.

But I must go on,

Even though your not by my side.

The angels up above,

Have heard my cry.

They comfort me with love,

And tell me to keep my head up high.

So with the love of them,

And the memories of you,

Changed who I am,

And I still miss you.

The Lonely Winter

As winter comes and the white snow falls, I think of you and wish you were still with me.

I imagine you walking down the halls. You are coming to me, but I frown for what I don’t see. You’re not there, you’re not here. I’m left in the cold with the winter breeze.

Because the one thing that could warm me is not near. Now I’m left in the snow to freeze.

It’s my December, and I spend it alone. In this cold weather, I’m frozen so hard like a bone. Now I see you in the distance so far. I close my eyes because I know its fake. Now its real, you’re shining like a beautiful star. My soul unfreezes, my heart is awake. You hold me with your fire of love. It’s a dream that has come true. I feel the love from up above. My sky has cleared. I see the beautiful blue. I love you so much, I know this love is true. Forever I’ll be happy because I’m with you.

You love is deep, so deep I could drown in it.

Since you went to the sky so blue, I can’t help but miss you. The happiness you gave me, changed who I am today. I miss you so much, even though I know I will meet you again along the way. I cry inside, because I can’t have you here by my side.
