Walking in Total Freedom After Healing from Deep Inner Wounds, by LaRose Angela Richardson is a must-read. She is transparent and narrates her journey of heartache, betrayal, disappointments, and setbacks. The odds were stacked up against her, but she overcame. She could’ve stayed on the wrong path, but now she is on the straight and narrow. I admire her as a woman of wisdom and have learned a lot from her ministry. She is a woman of faith, and I witnessed God do the miraculous in her life. After reading this book, I gained a greater appreciation for her experiences. As you read the pages, you will attest to the fact that she is truly set free by the power of God. This book will encourage you to respond to challenges correctly and strengthen your relationship with the Lord.

I want to acknowledge my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit for helping with the contents of the book. I like to thank the Holy Spirit for helping me overcome shame and embarrassment so I could tell my story and be a blessing to someone else. I pray they would be able to get free and walk in all that God has for them.

I like to acknowledge and thank Prophetess Kimberly Moses for challenging me and pulling me out of my comfort zone so that I can move forward in God.

I want to acknowledge my husband, Richard Richardson who is always encouraging me to continue to move forward. He is one of my biggest cheerleaders on the sidelines.

I like to acknowledge Prophetess Valora Cole for being obedient to God. She offered ten weeks of mentorship called Fearless Intercessor. I received deliverance from the spirit of anger that was trying to destroy my life and destiny.

    Introduction

Many people are wounded in their souls, emotions, and hearts when they were children. Much of which is not attributed to the children but to what is imposed upon them. Their parents and other family members, neighbors, and classmates may have contributed to the hurt that they endured. On some occasions, the unthinkable happened to these children, like incest, rape, molestation, abandonment, leaving a hole in their hearts and souls. Children should not be subjected to this type of trauma. We were taught to believe that adults are there to protect and not violate. Trauma has been something that many have kept silent about even up to adulthood.

It is possible wounding may have occurred when they were still in their mother’s womb by things that were said or pronounced over the fetus by the mother or father of the child. It is said that babies can hear and feel things mothers go through while still in the womb. Some babies have even experienced botched abortions, which is when the mother thought that the baby was aborted but discovered later in the pregnancy that she was still pregnant with a live fetus. To the mother’s amazement, her baby continued to live even after she tried to abort them. This type of trauma causes the child to feel unwanted by the parent. It also affects the child for the rest of their life. Their viewpoint of other relationships will suffer because of the unresolved hurt that they felt from what happened to them when they were a child. The only way hurt can be totally resolved is through deliverance because the child carries the spirit of rejection.

Another way rejection can occur is when a child is given up for adoption and the mother signs all parental rights away. The child goes to foster homes and sometimes orphanages but never feels like they belong to anybody. They feel as if nobody wants them to be part of their family, and they feel alone
