Jan Pierce, M.Ed., is a retired teacher and writer whose work has appeared in many Christian and secular publications including Young Child, Momsense, The Mother's Heart and Woman's World. She specializes in education, parenting and family life articles. Jan lives in the Pacific Northwest and is the mother of two grown children. She is grandma to four grandsons.
