Pick Me Up!

MY WARNING TO YOU

Squeezing into my jeans, my belly stuck more than usual.

‘Someone is going to ask when you’re due,’ my hubby Steve, now 49, laughed at me.

At my age, there was no way!

However, in July last year, I could see why people would question it.

Completely out of the blue, my stomach had become extremely bloated.

I’d get full quite quickly, I was weeing constantly and my tummy would twitch, too.

My stomach was solid and bending over to put on my shoes felt impossible.

‘I don’t know if I’m just constipated,’ I said to the medic at my local walk-in centre.

After tapping my tummy, I was sent home
