THE ACORN AND THE PUMPKIN

His dog, Patches, woke up and shook himself.

“Yes, it’s time to get to work!” Harold said with a smile.

The old farmer put on his checked shirt and ate a slice of toast with butter. Then, he picked up his spade and left the house.

“Farmers have lots of jobs to do!” he told Patches. “There are hardly enough hours in the day to do them all!!
