Moon Shot

Days before the first moon landing and Neil Armstrongs “small step,” there was the initial “moon shot” on July 16,1969. I was 18 years old and lived in Indiana. That summer, I visited my aunt Mimi and cousin Susie, who lived on an orange grove in the country near the town of Christmas, Fla. (yes, famous for their postmark).
