Queer Black women are having their ADHD diagnoses missed: here’s why that’s important

When I was at school in the mid- 2000s, there were a few boys in my class that were infamous for being disruptive. They were perpetually talking back to the teacher, swinging on their chairs and throwing their pencils across the room in frustration. Their outward hyperactivity, inability to concentrate and flagrant rage was universally noticed. Later, all three received ADHD diagnoses.
