Monsieur Personne rather loves his life. He owns a slip of a launderette, above which is his one-bedroom apartment, small by even Parisian standards. But lonely Monsieur Personne loves everything about it, especially the large bed that occupies the most space. Of course, Monsieur Personne doesn’t actually use it because everyone knows that angels don’t sleep, but he has always been fond of this archaic human tradition. The whole wearing of pyjamas and climbing under the blanket concept. When Monsieur Personne really listens, he often stumbles upon silent wishes people make under their breath. People, he thinks, seem to rather like this concept. They appear to be making wishes anywhere and everywhere. In the grocery store line, while running for the bus, even while using the washroom.
