27  The eternal God is your ^tdwelling place,¹

and underneath are the everlasting arms.²

And he thrust out the enemy before you

and said, ‘Destroy.’

2  ^vBefore the ^wmountains were brought forth,

or ever you had formed the earth and the world,

^xfrom everlasting to everlasting you are God.

2  ⁱYour throne is established from of old;

^jyou are from everlasting.
