2009 BMW E90 328i Named Consumer Reports Best Used Sedan
BIMMERPOST NEWS 2009 BMW E90 328i Named Consumer Reports Best Used Sedan Consumer Reports has issued its latest Best & Worst Used Cars report (for April 2013) and the 2009 BMW E90 328i sedan has been named the best sedan in the $20,000-$25,000 category. It shares the top pick with the 2009 Infiniti G and the 2010 Toyota Avalon. Here's what the report says about its picks: The 3 Series combines agile handling, a taut ride, good brakes, and powerful six-cylinder engines in a comfortable, if slightly snug, interior. The Infiniti G is a similarly sporty alternative. Look for the Toyota Avalon if you want a roomy interior and lots of comfort. The E90 3 Series was refreshed (LCI facelift) for the 2009 model year. Unfortunately, the BMW 7 Series makes the list of cars to avoid. See the entire list of best & worst picks at Consumer Reports. |

good ole e90 chassis, continues to make news in a good way :-) really glad I went with one back in 2006 and have still held on to my 330, plan on keeping it for another 4years!

Ha! I like it when I'm dead on. Mine is an 09 328i! Yes, it's snug, but I would not consider the Avalon as a comparable alternative. It's a nice car, but it doesn't handle like a BMW.

See the entire list of best & worst picks at Consumer Reports. [/bpnews][/QUOTE] Owned the 7 series. I was only happy the first day I bought it and on the last day when I sold it. In the middle was very unsatisfied, only troubles. |

Good reinforcement of what I already knew.
They failed to mention that the G feels like driving an disconnected, emotionless land yacht.

Got my 2009 in December and am loving it.....
even more now It seems like a great car and I'm getting really good mileage with it. Only had 24,000 miles when I bought it so it was barely broken in

Great, thanks for sharing. Glad to hear our e90s are holding up...
Shata: there was a recall on the issues you are having with the seatbelt light or MAT sensor I think it was, not sure about the airbag though. I got it fixed for free at my dealership about 5 yrs ago. |

They're good cars. Even though the same design pretty much ran for 10 years (more if you count it's Japan debut as a Skyline), I still think they're nice looking cars. It was on my shopping list, as I thought the interior was actually better than the E90. But there is just a ton of them around, old and new. I'm not surprised they made the list of great used cars to buy.

Love them E90's! I just recently got one myself after having many BMW's and many other cars, and I feel like it is one of if not the best daily driver I've owned. It's just got everything I am looking for in an every day car.
